An IP calculation tool [ipv tool wizard?] helps users to create the IP ranges and masks after entering an IP address and prefix, An example screen is shown below:
IP addresses can be related to network items, like equipment (loopback address), ports, cards and connections (like VLAN’s). Based on any business rules in place, IMS will present the optimum next free available IP-addresses to the user, see screenshot below.
