IMS supports the complete lifecycle of network equipment including ordering equipment with supplier, place in warehouse, implement in live network and use spare management.
Warehouse / Spare Management:
- From the material lists (with all types of equipment/cards) users can order equipment with the supplier.
- New equipment can be added easily
- Per project related purchase orders and budgets can be managed
- Equipment can be reserved and ordered for a certain project
- After equipment has been picked up for installation, equipment is stored as "booked out".
- Cables can be managed via an "open" warehouse
- Used equipment can be returned to warehouse or can be placed in a virtual container for selling purposes
- Faulty cards can directly be swapped with spare cards
- Multiple reports with vendor lead-times measurements.
